Authentic Farm Decor at the Homestead B&B

The Homestead is a rambling 100-year old farm home, built by the present owner's grandparents. The decor is strictly down home. The owner, Noeleen, is a throw-back to ruggedly independent pioneer women. Being a panty-waisted pinko liberal city woman, the deerskin throws made me slightly queasy. Our ensuite room, though, was genuinely lovely with a huge comfortable bed & stained glass windows & a working spinning wheel outside the door. No deerskins in the boudoir, thank heavens.
