Kayaker in Trouble

This woman is having some difficulty navigating through a rocky stretch of the Pororari River, even though the water is moving fairly slowly. Her guide had to helper through. Long before coming upon the kayakers I could hear mysterious thumping sounds which I simply couldn't identify. Turned out to be the kayaks bumping against rocks.
