I forgot to comment that there is this huge hole in the ozone over Australia and NZ so they say.....they sell sunbloc in every store and they all wear hats. We noticed the school uniforms all include hats which are always worn at recess. They had surfing classes when school first starts in Jan-Feb (their end of summer) and it looks funny to see the kids surfing with hats on! You may have noticed people at the baeches sometimes fully clothed. Not at all like Calif!
